Después de acceder a cuartos de final de la EHF European Cup, el equipo regresa a la competición liguera después de casi dos meses midiéndose al Zubileta Evolution Zuazo Barakaldo este sábado en el Polideportivo Lasesarre a las 19:30 horas.
El equipo intentará lograr una nueva victoria tras producirse en el último partido liguero una derrota dolorosa ante el KH7- BM Granollers en Frigiliana que privó de tener un colchón respecto al 5º clasificado, el Aula Alimentos Valladolid, después de una racha de victorias acumuladas. El Zuazo se trata, aún ocupando la 10ª posición, de un equipo incómodo en casa para sus rivales tal y como pudo comprobar Rocasa Gran Canaria que solo pudo empatar.
Será importante que el equipo afronte el duelo concentradas desde el inicio, con defensa sólida y con acierto en ataque para poder mandar en el marcador.
Sara Bravo, en declaraciones efectuadas, comentó respecto a la previa del partido que ”tenemos buenas sensaciones ya que los dos partidos los superamos, estamos contentas y con ganas de empezar la liga. Sabemos que los encuentros en casa del Zuazo siempre son complicados”. Respecto al rival, no se fía por el juego que despliegan y por las complicaciones que les pueden poner: «Es un equipo difícil y más allí. El año pasado ya nos lo puso complicado y ahora será igual aunque se le hayan ido jugadoras importantes, van a seguir dando guerra y nos espera un partido muy complicado. La liga está apretada, pero tenemos que sumar puntos este sábado para no descolgarnos».
Será el primer enfrentamiento este mes entre los dos conjuntos, que también se verán las caras en la segunda ronda de la Copa de la Reina.
