El equipo malagueño se impone con autoridad en la eliminatoria y ya se encuentra en cuartos de final

Este pasado fin de semana se disputó la eliminatoria a doble partido entre Costa del Sol Málaga y JuRo Unirek. Ambos partidos se disputaron en el Pabellón Ciudad Jardín y en el partido de ida ya se pudo mostrar durante la primera parte la superioridad de las vigentes campeonas del torneo europeo.
En el primer partido, desde el inicio la internacional Merche Castellanos era un muro en portería, Silvia Arderius era un espectáculo en su juego y deleitó a la afición con asistencias asombrosas, Sole y Espe López mostraban su contundencia en forma de goles y si juntas todo esto provocas que el equipo, con un ritmo vertiginoso, colocara en el marcador un demoledor (3-13). Esto permitió que Suso Gallardo moviese el banquillo y efectuara rotaciones contando con jugadoras de la cantera que ofrecieron un buen nivel. Con todo ello, se llegó al descanso con un marcador inverosímil de (7-22) que marcaba lo que estaba aconteciendo sobre la pista. Si bien es cierto que en el segundo periodo las holandesas compitieron y no se rindieron, las costasoleñas jugaron con el objetivo de mantener la renta y al final del partido se llegó con el marcador de (19-35) que sentenciaba la eliminatoria de cara al partido de vuelta. Arderius, con nueve goles y con el festival de juego, fue la mejor del partido.
El partido de vuelta fue un mero trámite para las malagueñas, que defendía una renta amplia. Las bajas, además, de Arderius, Talita y Desi Sesgado ponían en complicaciones a Suso Gallardo que debía mover el banquillo y efectuar rotaciones para defender el marcador a favor. Primera parte igualada la que se jugó con ventaja mínima para las malagueñas al descanso (12-11). En el segundo periodo, se mantuvo la intensidad de ambos equipo y el reparto de minutos entre las jugadoras locales lo que permitió llegar al final del partido con el resultado de (25-22) a favor de las panteras.
Clasificación para cuartos de la EHF European Cup y duro mes de enero el que debe afrontar el Costa del Sol Málaga con enfrentamientos ligueros y con el horizonte puesto en la fase previa de la Copa de la Reina.
