Se acabó. El Costa del Sol Málaga ya había llegado a las semifinales de la Copa de la Reina con una heroicidad, remontado un partido que parecía imposible que se le fuese a Rocasa Gran Canaria. En el día de ayer, no se sabe si por falta de concentración, por la presión de jugar en el Carpena, por no llegar de forma óptima al envite tras el esfuerzo físico del día anterior o porque simplemente estuvieron a un nivel inferior al rival, las de Suso Gallardo fueron superadas de principio a fin por el KH-7 Granollers haciendo éstas historia y accediendo por primera vez a la final de la Copa de la Reina.
