Los tres puntos es lo único válido para que el equipo alcance la 10ª posición en esta jornada con treinta puntos, se alejaría de la permanencia en diez puntos y miraría hacia la zona alta teniendo los playoff a cuatro puntos.
La lista de convocados anunciado de forma oficial por el Málaga CF y que viajan a Madrid son: Dani Barrio, Víctor Gómez, Javi Jiménez, Lombán, Ramón, Paulino, Jairo, Chavarría, Dani Martín, Antoñín, Peybernes, Ismael, Iván Calero, Escassi, Cufré, Ismael Gutiérrez, Loren, Andrés Caro, Julio, Haitam, Kevin, Roberto, Moussa y Dani Lorenzo.
